The name is Sylvester and it suits him well. He’s a bit of a con artist when it comes to the kitty treats and wet food. He loves to play and his favorite toys are the ones covered in catnip.
Sylvester came to us in rough shape. He had a terrible case of ear mites. One of the worst foster mom has seen. He’s still recuperating and has the scabs and scars to prove it. His right eye is going through some healing as he scratched it when the ear mites were bothering him. His tail looks a little scraggly, because he had to have several large clumps of burrs shaved out. But that will plush out soon enough.
Sylvester does try to establish dominance with the other kitties in the house, but this ends up making him a loner. It has created some hissing matches but no distasteful behavior from anyone.
Foster mom often finds him curled up for a nap in other parts of the house, like in her closet. He is very loving when it comes to attention and seeks it out from his human. He will give a warning nibble to make sure you know he’s had enough.
Although, he’s working his way to top notch health again, he’s still looking for his forever home. Help us find this rough-around-the-edges furry friend a place to call his own.
