Update 10.11.19: Samantha was brought to Furry Friends by a concerned citizen that found her and her brother, Gus. They were very sick. At 5 weeks of age they both had to have an eye removed, due to infection. Because they were so sick and had to have sub q fluids and meds, and their eyes were messed with, they decided that humans can be scary.
After a year working with them, they are slowly coming around. Samantha is a real sweetheart that loves to be pet, but it is believed that her sinuses were also damaged when she was sick, so she can’t smell the best. Because of this, she gently nibbles on your hand as if she was trying to smell it. She loves to purr. She is not too sure about being picked up yet.
It is asked that you have patients with her and that you are willing to give her at least 6 months to start coming around. It is also asked that there be no animal or person in the house that finds it fun to chase or tease her.
Update 7.7.19: Samantha is a very playful kitten that is very sweet once she gets to trust you. It could take months for her to trust you, but once she comes around she is a sweetheart. She was a feral and will need someone with patience.
Samantha is the grey kitten. She has a birthdate of around September 2018. She and her brother came to us very sick and feral. They both lost an eye do to infections. She is currently learning to trust people but it is hard because she is easily scared because of her limited sight. She is fixed and utd.
