Hello, my name is Ellie. I am so thankful I found my way to Furry Friends…or did they find their way to me? Either way, I am on the right road to finding my  forever family. My foster family says that I am the “perfect size” and I think I might agree. I am almost full size and only weigh 35-pounds. They also mentioned that I am very sweet and may have suggested that I am pretty smart as well.

I have learned some basic commands pretty quickly and continue to learn. I am potty trained and don’t mind the kennel too much. I might be a little mischievous and maybe a little stubborn, but that can be easily foreshadowed with my wiggly tail. With the cold weather, I have only been able to get out for a few short walks. I am not a strong puller on the leash, but will need some more training.

I enjoy being outside, unless of course, it is extremely cold. Outside is where I seemed to be most comfortable at first. But, as I settle in more, I realize inside is a nice place to be as well.

I don’t seem to favor any one member of my foster family. I enjoy them all equally. I don’t pay much attention to the cat in my foster home; However, I do need some time to feel comfortable with other dogs in the home. But, once I am comfortable, I love to play.
