Don’t be fooled by my aloofness; I am just not that thrilled about being on “display.” I really do love attention and will sit on your lap as long as you let me. I am currently staying at a temporary crash pad with Nate. He’s kind of like your typical college roommate: annoying, and, obviously, kind of a suck up, but we have learned to get along. Sometimes, I even let him lick me (It’s a tough job, but somebody’s gotta do it). It’s really nice here, don’t get me wrong, but I would really love a home of my own. My temporary person has cats of her own and one of them is kind of a jerk so Nate and I have to stay upstairs in a room by ourselves. Clearly, I deserve more love than that! I do have a thing called FIV, which means I get an enzyme added to my food every day and I need to be kept indoors, but why would you let me outside? That would mean you’re not petting me! I really do fine without constant attention, too, so don’t be worried.
My other need-to-know stuff:
I am spayed (no annoying kittens to worry about), up to date on my shots, and in tip top health.
Please, consider giving me a furever home.
Danica (NOT the race car driver)
Hello, I’m Danica! I am an energetic and spunky young cat, so I was very excited when Furry Friends busted me out of the pound. I have too much energy for kitty jail.
I like to play as much as I love to cuddle, both get my purr engine going loud! Do you want to be my new forever family?
Danica has tested positive for FIV. FIV is an immune disorder in felines. Although FIV is contagious to other cats, FIV is mainly passed from cat to cat through deep bite wounds, the kind that usually occur outdoors during aggressive fights and territorial disputes-the perfect reason to keep your cat inside. Cats with FIV can live a long life with proper precautions to keep them healthy. Cats with FIV can live in harmony with other cats as long as there is not aggression towards each other.
