Alice was brought to Furry Friends Rockin Rescue from the pound and suffering from an upper respiratory infection. She had a hard time recovering from that and also developed ringworm. The shelter was a very stressful place for her and did not aid in her recovery. Medically she is spayed, up to date on vaccines and has a couple weeks left of ringworm treatment (as of 2/15). Socially, we don’t know a lot about her history, whether she was outside on her own or came from a traumatic home life. Either way she is a very shy and easily scared cat. She seems to enjoy the company of other cats and is not scared to make friends. She is scared of humans however and because she has been so sick it is taking extra time to show her that we can be nice. She will be on medical hold until more of her social fear can be determined. If anyone is interested, she will need a quiet home with an experienced and patient cat owner; if there are other cats in the home that would be best.
